My rating is for the overall stay, cost and the friendlyness of the staff. Very caring and laid back. Of course is an oldish place and is not so polished, not a 4 starts hotel but is close to the main area of North Beach and for the price is a pretty decent deal.

The location was perfect, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but very close to both the beach and the hustle and bustle and the key to the room didn't control the electricity so I could have the ac on and charge the phone even when I was out.
